Jamie Reed is a life-long progressive and healthcare professional.  Jamie was previously the caseworker in the Pediatric Transgender Center at a clinic in Missouri.    For many years she has provided counselling to vulnerable populations including children in foster care, sexual minorities and young people with HIV. For four years she worked at The Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Missouri. What she saw in that time caused her to resign and turn whistleblower.
