The Janssen Covid19 vaccine is no longer available in the U.S.  All remaining U.S. Government stock of Janssen Covid19 vaccine expired May 7, 2023.

The statement confirms that all remaining U.S. government stock of the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine has expired as of May 7, 2023, and advises the proper disposal of any remaining doses in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. This development signifies that the U.S. government has ceased purchasing the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, resulting in the expiration of all remaining doses. Previously, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was one of the four vaccines authorized for use within the United States, alongside the Pfizer mRNA vaccine, Moderna’s mRNA vaccine, and Novavax’s vaccine, which features a nanoparticle version of the spike protein.

Researchers with CDC discovered that people who had vaccinated with the Janssen shot were far more likely to experience TTS than people who received any of the other vaccines on the market.  This information that was reported was gathered by the Vaehrs system.
